In the exciting but highly unpredictable world of entertainment, perseverance is often as important as talent, and for talented comedian Dannon Green, that perseverance has earned him a number of roles in television films and commercials.
Born in New York and raised in Philadelphia PA, Dannon came from a very difficult background as he was raised in a foster system. This did not stop him from wanting to be successful in life.
Dannon Green has skyrocketed to fame and picked up the nickname “The Black George Carlin” because his comedy style is based on topical premises just like the late great George Carlin.
Dannon has appeared on number of television shows: “The Shield”, “Everybody Hates Chris”, starring Chris Rock as well a co-starred on the hit show “Real Husbands of Hollywood”, starring Kevin Hart. He also has appeared in a number of films that include “Baby Boy”, “Supreme Sanction”, “Civilian Life”, and the award winning short film “Duck” to name a few.
Besides being a well-known actor, standup comedy is what he is mostly known for. He has appeared on BET “Comic View”, Kevin Harts “One Mic Stand”, “comics Unleashed” starring Byron Allen and performed on the hit series “First Amendment” Executive produced by Martin Lawrence and Doug Williams.
He has also done warm ups for a number of television shows. “Moesha”, “Girlfriends”, “All about the Andersons”, and “Just Jordan”. He can also be seen currently in a number of national television commercials ranging from McDonalds, Toyota, La-Quinta and Ally Bank.
A versatile entertainer known for his signature line “I don’t want no Trouble”, Dannon has earned two degrees, an Undergraduate degree in Computer Graphics and Masters in the field of Computer Animation. This accomplishment has given him the title of the first African-American to receive a degree in this field of studies. He is also an accomplished two time golden glove champion and an avid golfer.
